One of our Faith Alive at Home activities is a family scripture time each night. As a family we discuss how to apply Bible principles to our lives. We try to pick out areas where we fail and how we can to better in those areas. Our family also uses stories from the Bible, stories from our children's religion books, and other sources. We discuss what we must avoid and what we must apply to our lives to become stronger Christians. We close in prayer asking for the Lord to help us apply what we talked about, for world problems, specific and global, and for strength to become more like Christ. Different family members close in prayer or sometimes we go around the room with each person praying what is upon their heart.
