My favorite time of the year is preparing for Advent/Christmas. During Advent we participate as a family in a daily activity. This year we made prayer cards and placed them in a box. Each prayer card had the name of a family member, neighbor, sister, brother, mother, father or grandparent on it. Each morning, as a family, we lift up one person in prayer to God. We truly enjoy this activity.
