When my daughter was studying the Ten Commandments we had a family conversation about God.

We talked about how we wanted to put God first in our lives. Then we cut out a stem and leaves from green construction paper. We pasted a yellow circle on top of the stem. We wrote the commandments on petals and pasted them to the flower.

Doing this activity not only helped our family to learn about the commandments; it also helped us to become closer as a family. We spend time with each other every week doing the Faith Alive at Home and in the Parish Activity.
