My family has always cared for people who are less fortunate than us. My son asked us to help him collect and distribute food to needy families. We collected and gave out bags of food with our son's Cub Scout Pack.

We also give clothes to those who need them and toys to children! So I thought that we were doing a pretty good job of doing the Corporal Works of mercy.

This week my family and I learned about the Spiritual works of Mercy!!

The Faith Alive at Home Activity this week was about forgiving others. We prayed and then asked each other's forgiveness for any hurt that we might have caused each other. It was really very moving. We ended with a big old-fashioned family hug!
