My father was born in China. He often remembers how little freedom he had in that country. My mother says that she is so thankful for being free now.

My sister and I decided that many people take freedom for granted today. We decided to pray with my parents and thank God for the gift of freedom!

My family and I sang "Amazing Grace." After that we said a Hail Mary. We each thanked God in our own words for the gift of freedom.
