Remembering Baptism
This week's Faith Alive at Home and in the Parish Activity asked parents to remember their child's Baptism. We had such fun telling my daughter about how little she was and how much she cried! Except for the time when she was actually being baptized. She watched everything with great big eyes. It was as if she actually understood what was going on.
Then we acted out my daughter's Baptism. We poured water on her head. Then my husband and I acted out our Baptism. We ended with the prayer in my child's Coming to God book.
Thank you, God, for making us your children! !
