Swimming in Good Deeds!

During the season of Lent we place a cardboard fishbowl in the center of our kitchen table.

We cut out paper fish that my children have drawn and colored. Every day during Lent each of us writes down a good deed or a kind word that was said. These are written on our fish. Then we glue the fish to the fish bowl.

By the end of the Lenten Season our fish bowl is "swimming" with many colorful fish. This is a very visual reminder to our family of the type of life we should lead at Lent and always.
