A Birthday Mass

This is how we celebrate each of my five children's birthdays! I schedule to have a Mass celebrated in Thanksgiving on each child's birthday.

If the birthday falls on a school day we attend the 7am Mass. We attend Mass as a family and then we all go out for a birthday breakfast.

Of course the birthday boy or girl has a special dinner, cake, and presents, in the evening. But I think I will always remember—and so will my children—the special birthday Mass together.
