Single Parent's Prayer Since my divorce four years ago we have each been challenged on our faith journey. Every evening we have a fifteen-minute praying/sharing time. It seems that everyone has a very hectic schedule. This has challenged my patience many times. It challenges all of us to take time for our faith. But we had found that after my divorce we needed to look at ourselves as a family and to refocus on who we are for each other. It hasn't always been easy. There were many hurts and angers. But we have learned that even in our brokenness, we are growing each day in our awareness of how much God loves us. We are increasing in faith, hope, and love and we are learning to share these gifts with others. A Family
Love Connection Leave the papers at a convenient place such as the kitchen table. Everyone is invited to write as many nice things as they want about that person under the person's name. (Those unable to write can ask an older brother or sister or parent for help). Choose a special occasion to read the slips of paper out loud. Congratulate yourselves on being such a wonderful family!
