Our Baby and Baptism
My daughter's religion book had a section on Baptism. It was suggested that the family look at Baptism photos and recall that special event. Well, in my family it turned into more than remembering.

The baby of the family is my 16-month-old daughter. Not only were we able to look at photographs of her Baptism, but I still had her baptismal dress and certificate.

It was wonderful to pass these objects around and recall her Baptism. We wound up by praying this Baptism prayer.

Lord, by the grace of our Baptism give us everlasting life. (Everyone blesses himself or herself with water).

Lord, by the grace of our Baptism help us to bring light to the world. (Everyone lights a candle).

Lord, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, may we always give glory to God the Creator. (Everyone blesses himself or herself).
