Celebrating Growing Things
This past week my child learned about how all the plants on the earth are God's gift to us! The activity we were assigned to do was to plant a seed. I have to admit that I do NOT have a green thumb! I was really worried that the plant would die. But my daughter and I followed the directions and placed a lima bean (that we had soaked overnight) into a cup filled with dirt.

We watered it and watched it and kept it in the sun. And guess what? It grew! My daughter was the first to notice the tiny little green leaf peeking out of the dirt. My daughter's religion book also invited us to complete this prayer. It was a very holy experience.
