The Month of the Rosary
I have always wanted to share my love for Mary with my children. Well, it turned out that I had an opportunity to share this love with them and also with some of their second grade friends. Two of my daughter's second grade classmates spend some after school time with us each week. My daughter's parish religion lesson that week was about Mary. Unfortunately, my daughter's friends do not go to religion class. We were doing the religion book assignment which was to make a special "Mary Table." I covered a small table with a special cloth. My daughters and their friends made tissue paper flowers for decorations. When we were finished we all held hands and said the Hail Mary. One of my daughter's friends said in the softest voice while looking at the statue of Mary, "Isn't she beautiful!"
