The Family that Prays Together Stays Together
This week my daughter's religion lesson was about prayer. She learned that there are many forms of prayer. She also learned about the importance of family prayer. I thought that I was going to get off easy with this assignment. We have always been a family that prays together. But at supper one night Jennifer announced that she had "religion assignments " for everyone. She passed out pieces of paper on which she had written the following words.

Praying at Meals
Morning and Evening Prayer
Letters to Jesus
Re-enacting the Last Supper

Each member of the family had to take responsibility for preparing one of the above forms of prayer. Why don't you try it? It was a wonderful experience.
