Really Learning About the Bible
My daughter's 6th Grade religion book is all about the Bible. At the start of the year her catechist had the children enlarge the map of the Holy Land which is found in the back of the book. We have since hung up the map in the family room. This has become such a great source of knowledge for the whole family. Not only have we taken turns researching the land and time of Jesus, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the River Jordan, but we have also researched modern day Israel.

With the help of our computer we have taken several "Virtual Tours " to the Holy Land. Perhaps someday we will be blessed to do the real thing, but in the meantime we are still enjoying our Bible activities.
