Adopting Angela
I never thought that I would be an adopted Mother. I had given birth to 6 children and they were all grown. A young woman in our Church had become pregnant and was not married. She wanted to give birth to her child. I remember her saying, "It will only be for a few months that I will have to be out of school. For my unborn child it means she will have her whole life."

With the help of our pastor, my husband and I helped this young woman go through her pregnancy and offered to adopt her baby. I even helped her deliver the child. When we saw the baby's sweet little face we decided to name her "Angela." She looked just like a little angel!

Angela is now three years old. She keeps both my husband and me young! I pray every day for Angela's birth mother. I thank God that she had the courage to give birth to Angela.
