A Place to Pray
We made a prayer corner in the family room of our home. We covered a table with a cloth that was hand embroidered by a relative. We made a small altar by placing a cross on the table. Then we put candles, a Bible, a statue of Mary and some rosary beads. This is a reminder that God is the center of our lives. It has also become a wonderful place for our family to pray! We use this prayer corner every evening. We say a decade of the Rosary and read a passage from the Bible.

Sometimes at the end of a busy day, I find it so peaceful to gather together with my family around this table. It has truly become God's special place in our home.
