Getting Ready for Spring
My daughters and I never liked the cold dark months of winter. I am always anxious for the arrival of spring. For the past several years my daughters and I have taken a "Nature Walk" as soon as the weather was warm enough. We would wander through a nearby park and point out different signs of spring. This year when we returned home we sat in a circle. While we each remembered (or held up) our different sign of spring, we praised God. I had been reading about St. Francis and how he praised God for Brother Sun and Sister Moon. It made a beautiful prayer for my family.
