Getting involved in our Parish
Our parish has been blessed with arrival of a lively and dynamic couple who is serving as our Parish Youth Ministers. I was not even aware of what a youth minister is until my son introduce me to Elaine and John. One of the first things that Elaine and John did was to hang up a list in the back of our Parish Church. I have enclosed a copy of the list. The young people were asked to place their name next to suggestions for serving in the Parish. Some smaller children and some adults also got involved.

Ways to Serve Our Parish	Names
Form a clean up group for church grounds.	Names
Wash, sort and set up used clothing in parish "Second Time Around -Used Clothing Shop."	Names
Write a letter about an issue of justice and send it to a local newspaper, TV show, or Internet web site.	Names
Form a prayer circle.	Names
Form a group to help senior citizens.	Names
Send get well cards to those on the parish petitions for those who are sick list.	Names
