A Fun with Jesus Day
This was my daughter Jennifer's idea. Jennifer suggested that once a week during the summer that we should do something that was religious and also something that the whole family would enjoy. For example watching a favorite religious video together or listening to "happy hymns" or drawing religious art. Sadlier furnishes materials, which provide a variety of learning experiences. that turn the ordinary every day experiences into engaging and interesting activities.

The CD ROM: We Go to Church is a multimedia, interactive tool that teaches about the Mass, Church, prayers, and more! Among the many features of the CD ROM are vibrant and colorful illustrations, clear and expressive narration, hymns, music, video vignettes of the Mass and meditations, an Activity Center that includes games, a coloring book, and a photo album, a Prayer Corner, a virtual tour of an actual church, and prayers and activities that can be printed. This is a wonderful resource for children in grades 1-6 for home use.

Videos for children Saints and Celebrations, the stories of Christmas and Pentecost, and the lives of selected saints. Also available is a video on the Mass called Let Us Pray.

The Catholic Challenge Computer Game is a lively, action-packed game that encourages review of Bible stories, the learning of cherished psalms and prayers, moral decision making, and plays "Name That Tune" liturgical music quizzes. This provides a fun learning experience for the classroom or the home.

The Catholic Family Bible Game appeals to ages eight through eighty! This board game covers Genesis through Revelation and makes family time, time well spent.

Divinity: The New Catechism Learning System is a question-and-answer board game that is suited for ages ten to adult. This is a simple, fun way to learn about the Catholic faith.

Catholic Quiz Booklets can be used separately or with the board game. They are available for grades 1-9 and are a great assessment tool.

The Children's Activity Bible CD ROM contains 40 interactive Bible stories. This two CD ROM set will delight two year olds, and older with the opportunity to "meet" Bible characters. Story questions and Games provide follow up. Children will be thrilled with the Coloring Book CD ROM that contains over 300 illustrations.

Bible Story Books are colorful read-along story books for young children.

Video: The Evangelists Speak for Themselves Assuming the role of each evangelist in turn, Father William Burke tells the story of Jesus' life and teachings.
