Summer Nature
Walks
I grew up in the city. I remember summer where there was very little evidence
of the beauty of God's creation. I guess that is why I want my children
to appreciate the beauty of God's world. During the summer my family takes
a weekly nature walk. We each pick up one thing to carry home with us.
It might be an interesting stone, a pretty leaf, or flower.
When we get home sit together as each person show his/her gift from God's nature and says why he or she thinks it is special.
