| To Parents and Catechists: This resource contains suggestions for use in the home during the Easter Triduum. | Celebrating the Paschal Mystery: Easter Triduum The Easter Triduum begins on the evening of Holy Thursday and ends on Easter Sunday evening. During this time we remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, our saving Lord. Remember and Reflect During the Easter Triduum, why not take time to read our faith story in Scripture and meditate on the great things Jesus Christ has done for us. Easter Vigil to Easter Sunday Evening - John 20:1-18

Renew in Hope and Prayer Join your parish community for the celebrations of the liturgy during the Easter Triduum. During the Easter Triduum pray one of these memorial acclamations several times each day: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again. OR Dying you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life. Lord Jesus, come in glory. Restore Family Customs Holy Thursday Evening - Share a special meal with your family. Break bread from one loaf and share from one cup. Thank Jesus for giving us the gift of himself in the Eucharist.
- Pray for those who are preparing for First Eucharist.
Good Friday - Observe silence during the early afternoon. Thank Jesus for his great love for us.
- Do an act of service for someone who needs help.
Easter Vigil - Gather with your family to remember that Christ has shattered the darkness of sin. Light one candle and use it to light other candles in your home.
- Pray for all those who will celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation during the Easter Vigil.
Easter Sunday - Before your family meal, bless yourselves with holy water.
- Pray for those who help you keep your baptismal promises.
