To Parents and Catechists: Most youngsters find great joy in jumping, swinging high, and running very fast. This prayer service uses that personal experience to help them celebrate Easter.

I Have Seen The Lord! - Easter

If ever a day should move our hearts to pray, that day is Easter. If ever a day should move us to dance and turn cartwheels, that day is Easter. If ever a day should move us to say, "I'm glad I'm alive!" that day is Easter. What does Easter move you to do?

Listen to God's Word
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord with trumpets.
Praise the Lord with drums and dancing.
Praise the Lord, all living creatures!
From Psalm 150:1, 3, 4, 6

Celebrate!!!
Jesus is risen. Use God's word to help you celebrate that victory. Blow a horn. Beat a homemade drum. Splash in a pool. Stick a flower in your hair. Celebrate life.

Listen to God's Word
Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord."
From John 20:18

Seeing the Lord
You have not seen the risen Lord as Mary Magdalene and Thomas and Peter and John saw him. But you have seen him with eyes of faith. Create your own Easter prayer by completing the line "I have seen the Lord" in as many ways as you can.

I have seen the Lord in...

I have seen the Lord when...

I have seen the Lord at...

Imagine yourself running to tell your friends the Good News. What will you say?

My Prayer Goes On
Praise the Lord, all living creatures!
