Listen and Respond to God's Word

Leader: Let us form a prayer circle and ask the Holy Spirit to unite us and to fill us with power to be witnesses of God's love.

Reader: Keep alive the gift of the Holy Spirit that God has given us. For the sprit of God does not make us timid. Instead God's Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control. From 2 Timothy 1:6-7

Leader: Holy Spirit, with your help and power, we can work together to make our world a better place in which to live. (Take hold of the wrist of the person next to you as a sign of unity.)

All: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with the power of your love.

Reader: Jesus says, "When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power. You will be witnesses for me to the ends of the earth. From Acts 1:8

Leader: Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with your powerful love. Guide us as we ask in prayer to make our world a better place.

All: Holy Spirit, help us to be witnesses of your love and power.

Reader: Come, Holy Spirit, to help us when we are having a difficult time at home or at school.

All: Holy Spirit, help us to be witnesses of your love and power.
