We Remember Our Lady of the Rosary

Listen to God's Word
God, I will remember the wonders you did in the past. I will think about all you have done. From Psalm 77:11-12

A "Remembering" Prayer
God has given us a wonderful gift called memory. Our memory helps us recall things that have happened to us in the past.

Be very still. Close your eyes. Remember something in your life that was happy, or sad, or wonderful. Hold that memory in your heart. Tell God how you feel about it.

Remember with Mary
Mary remembered everything about her son Jesus. She remembered the joyful times, the sorrowful times, and the glorious times.

We remember these times with Mary when we pray the rosary.

Listen to God's Word
Jesus went home to Nazareth with Mary and Joseph. Mary treasured everything about Jesus in her heart. From Luke 2:51

A Treasuring Meditation
The pictures show a joyful, a sorrowful, and a glorious memory of Jesus that Mary treasured in her heart.

Choose one of the pictures. Be very still as you look at the picture. Imagine that you are there in the scene. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you say to Jesus? What do you say to Mary? Stay with the scene as long as you wish. This is called meditation.

My Prayer Goes On
Take this page home with you. During the week choose another picture. Put yourself in the scene just as you did today.
