We Give Thanks
Listen to God's Word
Reader: Jesus says, "I thank you, Father, for always listening to what I say. I know you always hear my prayers." From John 11:41, 42
Leader: Let us thank God in our hearts for the happy times we have shared.
Reader: "I always give thanks to God for you. God has given you many gifts in the name of Jesus." From 1 Corinthians 1:4
All: We give thanks for the gift of each other. Amen.
My Prayer Goes On
Trace some leaves on paper and cut them out. Write on the leaves the names of people for whom you are thankful.
Share this prayer service with your family and friends at Thanksgiving. Then place leaves in the center of your table. Pray together: We give thanks for the gift of each other.
